dear London, i do know i miss you…

back to some days ago,
i saw a advertisement news about London Underground on BBC *so, no wonder ~ i was looking for my own downfall*…
seeing the Jubilee Line, then people tapping the Oyster (London’s transportation card) – as well as Baker Street Station…me missing London…

London Underground

Selfridges & Co. London

Selfridges & Co. London

the city of London,
where i spent more than 2 years of my life – yet, i believe this is where i grew up the most as an individual.
The experiences of having new friends from all around the world, being independent, being lonely even the life outside my own London’s cocoon was busy like a bee, and in the end ~ being who i am as a person…

That was the first time ever that I live away from home for that long ~ I usually goes for a month holiday ~ yet, its an holiday – totally different than to live and study. So, there are times that i do miss my homey life ~ yet, i know i can’t leave things in London…
*life …a matter of choice ~*

On random days, sometimes I have a thought to go to London even just for a week or two – but then the timing …never goes right *or in the other words, i’ll be going somewhere else during those weeks ~ well ~ well ~ well ~ at least, there are some people to be blamed fufufufu…

back to my London dilemma ~
shall i plan London for next year? *even myself can’t give a good answer ~ sighhh*
even…i know i need to go to some other parts of the UK ~ yet still… there’s a thing on the other part of the world that is so much irresistible ~
…hence…i know i do miss London ~ to be exact …i miss the London’s life ~

the little bit Red in me

WhatsApp-Image-20160710

either i’m too excited or i’m just too biased with Red ~

just one thing that i can be sure of ~ that my eyes …at the moment could only see red and pink (well…bright pink is like my favourite colour eveeer!)…
while other colours would be like…black and white LOL!

moreover, without i really aware of it…i have buying everything red…red…red ~
well, i know whom is to blame #ups…

so now…i just JUST can’t wait for August! ♥

some steps back in to the 90s

in 1989 ~ 1990s,
…i had the chance to live in the US – in a small vibrant city of Wichita Falls – with its location is in Texas, many would assumed that i live around the cowboys era fufufufu ~ – but…its totally different than what people imagine…

Wichita Falls,
the town where i spent my most memorable childhood – i was fortunate to have my Elementary there – even only for a while.
the town where my family and me had been living – my Dad was getting his degree in Midwestern State University while my Mom is working as the librarian in my school.

Benjamin Franklin Elem 1990

Benjamin Franklin Elementary School ~
is the school where i went to when i was in the US.
is the place where i was forced to speak *please note that the little lady in red were only able to say “yes” and “no”.
as well as…the moment when i was well-proud of myself – i may not be able to utter the language but i was able to get along very well with my fellow classmates ~ i do still remember some names ~ Camille, Allan, Debra, Kenji, Ashley, Oliver and Lauren.
Camille and Allan would be the two that was really close to me – i was sad when i had to say “farewell” *again…please note that this little lady back then can’t say a proper farewell*

Then…
the unforgettable teacher eveeeeeer, Ms. Lisa Parks,
she was…AWESOME! i can’t express this feeling in any other way – I can’t speak a word of English, but she was so patient and showed me one by one what is the english word for this…for this…
My third word in English that i was able to say was “can” (meaning: able to) then followed with “rain” LOL! *this little lady just didn’t eager to learn huh?*

Then…
years goes by…so quick ~

Lately…well within these years, I’ve been looking for her *my former teacher* ~ but I didn’t know where to start…
Well, i tried to browse for the Ben Franklin Elem’s website – found it – then i emailed the School Principal …yet, nothing ~ the results was none…
next…i went thru the Social Media – such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google ~ yet none… *lately, this young lady just had a thought…ahh she should be married by now – so, she might use her husband’s family name ~ yet…how do i know his nameee?*

Its been some years…until 5 days ago,
when i had nothing to do…my fingers was just suddenly typed the Ben Franklin’s website and looking at each teachers’ profile!

UNTIL…i found Ms. Penny! She has been teaching in Ben Franklin for 29 years now *so, with my fingers…i counted back…ah! she should be there when i studied in Ben Franklin!…yatta!*
her email stated on the website…emailed her …telling her why i sent her a sudden email along with my academic reports and the withdrawal form lalalala ~ *yes, i’m still keeping those! my takaramono [means: treasure]*

the next day…ding ding…*an email came in*
it was from Mrs. Penny and she gave me Ms. Lisa’s email address!!
i was beyooooooond happy!
i just want to tell her everything! yet…at the moment i composed the email – i was stuck! LOL! *doki doki*
so…i sent her a medium length of email – telling her how i am right now and sent her some pictures of mine 🙂
and yesterday ~ she REPLIED! 🙂 she told me that she still remembers me and she still keep a picture of my with my Indonesian clothes…* i was totally into tears!*
even after 26 YEARS!!! 🙂

next!
i really want to find some friends of mine back then ~ especially Camille and Allan!

…i’m just walking some steps back to the past ~ my childhood…the treasured one!

kiss & peace,
~ A.Ionapuspa

the trails in Nara ~

AT LAST!!!
I went to Saidaiji ~ where 堂本剛 Domoto Tsuyoshi‘s sakura trees are located 🙂 *since its quite a must for a KinKi Kids fan like me* ~ then, I went to Kasuga Taisha (honestly, I’m a bit crazy about the Shinto …so, during the trip – mostly I visited Shinto shrines than the Buddha temples…)

then…I went to Nara Centennial Hall ~ where he held his TU Concert last year *me still dreaming to watch his solo live ~ i made one of my dream with watching him and Koichi in New Year* ~ yet Tsuyoshi’s solo is more tempting…at least, for me 🙂

Nara,
a small city with nice atmosphere ~ awesome transportation…even it seems you actually could just walk to discover Nara…
maybe just me…but, I would love to go back again to Nara ♥

…BONUS ~ Eni wo Yuite (by: 堂本剛 Domoto Tsuyoshi)
*password: Domoto Tsuyoshi’s date of birth (format: yearmonthdate – 8 digits)
please see Nara from his point of view ~ as he has been appointed as Nara Tourism Ambassador.

a visit to Johnny’s Family Club

Screen Shot 2016-01-12 at 11.15.55 AM

…so…on January 7th 2016, before I went back home on January 8th…I went to Johnny’s Family Club in Shibuya. With only a map that is provided on Johnny’s Net along with my well-knowledge about Shibuya area…I decided to walk from the flat.

after 15 minutes…i smiled! found it! but…it seems quite – no queue, no people waiting outside – i check the website again, to make sure the open hours…after i confirmed for the 3rd times…i decided to go down *oh…the JFC is located on Floor B1 – so, we need to go down stairs*

oh well…its quite crowd – yet i still can pictures without any disturbance! 🙂

The first thing I looked for was Kitayama Hiromitsu’s Christmas and New Year’s greeting! hence…KinKi Kids was being put up front…so, i took their pictures *along with Koichi’s wheel on the display* 🙂

Looking for Kis-My-Ft2’s greetings was quite amusing! there are many greetings and they didn’t put it in order ~ so, you could find KinKi Kids’ among the Jr’s then Arashi side-by-side with Tokio…until…a group of 7 (seven) colours pictures captured my eyes – looking for the red one…and yeaaay! Mitsu’s!!! then Tama and keep going on…

Honestly! I kinda wish to take home the Kisumai’s Saigo mo Yappari Kimi’s poster! – since it’s completed with their autographs! *can’t stop looking at that piece!*

Some advise…I feel lucky because I didn’t come in early morning – since many people said it’s quite a queue until noon…so, perhaps coming there an hour before closing time would be a good idea…

~ i’m sooo happy with Japan’s journey this time! starts from Arashi’s Japonism then KinKi Kids’ 2015-2016 then Johnny’s Countdown Concert *where I could see Mitsu again …this time along with other Kisumai members*…then again KinKi Kids on Koichi’s Birthday 🙂

…hopefully to go back again soon! *this time…with a friend to watch Kis-My-Ft2 and *hopefully KinKi Kids 20th Anniversary* Con! 🙂

my 2015 ~ 2016 in Tokyo Dome

it starts with Arashi on December 23rd, 2015 ~ then KinKi Kids on December 31st, 2015…

then…

JOHNNY’S COUNTDOWN 2015 – 2016!

i watched JCD Live ~ yet i took some screenshots from the TV…just because of someone’s cuteness!*
北山宏光 ♥

the story goes…
and why i just update the story now? some days after the JCD…i was totally speechless – between believing and not believing that i just WATCHED the bloody Johnny’s Countdown!!!

so, i began my December 31st 2015 with KinKi Kids’ Concert from 17:30 ~ 20:00 – hopefully i’m not mistaken – either Koichi or Tsuyoshi said that they need time to prepare the stage for the Countdown Concert…
…we were rushed to get out as soon as the KK’s Con done…when i was outside the Dome – i realised that i was just 1 person in around 100,000 people O_o it was a total WOW!!!

then…i spared myself some times to eat onigiris and drank warm tea *it was down to 2 degrees Celcius*…then at 22:20 with my “doki-doki” heart…i walked in again in to Tokyo Dome…

on the ticket…it says that the Concert will began at 23:00 ~ yet the live streaming on TV will begin at 23:45…so, “what’s gonna happen during the 45 minutes?” was muttering in my brain…but then…i think ~ oh well just wait!!! the most important thing is i want to see 北山宏光 ♥! *alright …i’m getting crazy again ~

so…i’m was waiting patiently! *not that patient actually…but just patiently* ~ taking out my Kisumai’s penlight along with my Kisumai red wristband and Mitsu’s uchiwa ~

23:00!!! a music played! its Johnny’s West! *aaaaaak!!!* i grabbed my binocular and look for Akito LOL!! *he’s my favourite one in J-West!* ~ then…in random order *since I can’t really remember…its A.B.C – Z then Nakayama Yuma then Sexy Zone -> i didn’t really listen to them thou ~ …i was actually chat on Line with my friend in Jakarta ~ she’s Kisumai’s Tamamori die-hard fan! ~ theeen…one of the Sexy Zone said…”tsugi waaa… Kisumai Futotsu!!!” ~ …i…literally threw my mobile and stood up…

“Kono jidai no champion…………..” …i screamed “aaaaaaak! MIKKUUUUUUN!” ~ they sang Everybody Go on rollers then continue with Busaiku’s Tana Kara Botamochi then… Kiss Damashii ~
…in Kiss Damashii…i can’t helped it! i got sore throat afterwards! during the 2nd chorus, it was Mitsu’s turn *well, originally Tamamori’s* ~ when he was gonna say “Kissu Damashiii…” the music stopped! the camera…as the big screen was close-up to his face…then he gave the kiss with that lips!!! AAAAAAAAK!!! *can’t helped it!*

…after Kiss Damashii ~ then the staff were busy preparing for the Live! Arashi came up…and we were told to get excited and scream when Arashi do the opening ~ *kinda being settled* ~ but…oh well…

Live begins…as you can see it on TV!!! 🙂

ps…
either its an unmei or what…during the JCD, i was surrounded by Kisumai’s fans…but the unique thing was that we are 7 of us – and we were all light up different colours!!
i lighted-up red *obviously ~ always for 北山宏光 ♥ …the girl in front of my lighted up yellow *for Tamamori* then next to her lighted-up pink *for Fujigaya* then next to her was green *for Nikaido*, purple *for Miyata*, blue *for Senga* and orange *for Yokoo* …it was funny when 7 of us realised the nijiiro we have made 🙂

…was one of the best night I’ve ever had! yet…the bestest best for my whole life New Year’s Eve! ♥♥♥ ~ see you again soon Kitayama-san ♥

my very first Arashi Concert ~ “Japonism”

So…there I was ~ in Tokyo Dome…

Since I watched Arashi “The Digitalian” DVD – I was quite determine to watch the next Arashi Concert ~ so, when they announce this Japonism Concert and it will be held in late December (in Tokyo), I was ecstatic! …so, i know i’ll be watching Arashi and KinKi Kids ~ and hopefully…Johnny’s Countdown (JCD)!
…for this JCD, a friend is helping me to get the ticket (hopefully the price is not beyond my budget though!)

back…to this Japonism!
Because I didn’t bring my Sakurai Sho’s uchiwa – so, i decided to buy Ninomiya Kazunari’s one 🙂

Everything goes smoothly ~ door, aisle and seat numbers are easy to find – as my friend and me didn’t need any assistance to find our “high floor” seats! LOL! but…since this is my first time ever in Tokyo Dome ~ so, i’m happy about it 😀

The concert started at 18:00 *not even a minute late!* ~ I started to scream when the lights dimmed…*this lady officially feels like a 16 years old inside during this concert!*
…honestly, I’m not a person who can write everything in details – but some of the spotlight that I really like about this Arashi’s concert is the PENLIGHT! ~ just 10 minutes before the concert started, the staff were busy telling us to tap out penlight to the sticker on our seat ~ so i tapped mine without really understand what is the purpose ~ but then when the concert starts…I was mermerised to see how they arrange our penlights! it was AWE-SOME!

Arashi’s members MC’ed for 15 – 20 mins (not really sure – but it’s less than 30 mins, for sure!) ~ they were talking about New Year ~ …then, when its Sakurai Sho’s turn…when he paused for a moment ~ i screamed out “SHOOO-CHAAAAAN!!”
…crazy me ~ people are looking at me ~ but i was like…whatever ~ since its now or never!
after Sakurai Sho…its Ninomiya’s turn…just as I want to scream again ~ I heard some girls screamed out “NINOOO…” ~ and i was like “damn! damn! i just made a trending!” …oh well, at least me is the first to call out and its Sho ~

…their last song A.Ra.Shi…love Ohno’s voice at the end! i was stunned for a while! his voice has this high pitch but so well-controlled! ~

then…just as soon as the song ends…my friend and me ~ we rushed to the station! I don’t want to squeezing inside the train! and…thankfully, we got in to the train well and safe and not really crowded! 🙂

overall…the concert was great! but it doesn’t make me having the desire to watch it again and again…i screamed and had a great fun singing Arashi’s songs…but it doesn’t makes me touched?! *i don’t know what would be the perfect word for this”…
for me…i just want to see Sakurai Sho and Ninomiya Kazunari over and over again! *my bias* ~ that’s it!

yet! again…this is my first ever JE Concert! so…i’m looking forward for my year end with KinKi Kids and as well as i’m very very much looking forward for summer (or after summer) as a promise has been made between a friend of mine and me to watch Kis-My-Ft2!
…after the Takizawa Kabuki ~ 北山宏光 ♥

Taps and Tips of Travelling…

Travelling is a part of my life as a hobby as well as a duty. Yet, I do realised that life must be balance. Thats why in every single time I go on for business trip – I always do fun travelling afterwards.

Been back and forward to the UK, Japan and Singapore – I got used to these 3 countries – from the way people socialised, language barrier and most important thing is…how to survived!

UK and Japan are my total bittersweet – since Singapore is just nearby to my home country, Indonesia – so the culture shock is not be a dominant matter.

Thus, from all those bittersweet memories and many lessons learned – I do endlessly shaping myself for who I am now and who I will be later on…

Being the youngest in the family means I always being recognised as the spoilt one – then at some point, I know I need to break that kind of impression. At that time – I was 15 years old, my first encounter that I had in my mind was to travel on my own. I need to let other people see that I’m capable to be own my on – that I can be independent at some point.

And I made it! People starts to look at me as me – not as the youngest and spoilt one in the family.

Now…the taps and tips 🙂

~ Be social! Remember that you are not in your home country – its not them who shall adapt with you but it is you who must adapt to the country you visit.

~ Respect! Always say thank you, sorry and please!

~ Learn a bit of the language. If you go to Japan, at least you much know what is “hello”, “thank you”, “sorry” and “excuse me” in Japanese. People will appreciate you more than you know.

~ Beware! Perhaps in your native country, you can do anything as you wish – yet when you abroad, you should be more aware to your surroundings.

~ Be independent! Especially to solo traveller…remind yourself that you have no one to depend on. You are expected to be able to help yourself.

~ Be prepared! From travel itinerary, maps, transportation options, application on smartphone to medicine and appropriate clothing.

Last yet not least…you should be open at heart and mind 🙂
At least people will know when you are trying your best – as well as do not feel hesitate to ask for other’s help even as simple as asking directions.

Travelling makes you richer in terms of experiences – it is something that money can’t buy – money does buy flight tickets, hotel vouchers and entrance tickets – yet, experiences and memories are priceless.
